About Michael
Michael was diagnosed with cancer… Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in May 2007. He was a fighter and lived life to the fullest. After undergoing five chemotherapy treatments, he was found cancer-free in December 2007. However, after relapsing in January 2008, Michael lost his battle with cancer on May 25, 2008, just days before his 20th birthday. He fought until the very end – leaving emptiness in our hearts that can never be filled. Michael has inspired his family, friends, and others to be fighters in times that we could easily be discouraged.
