Seniors Receive ExtraordinAIRy Treasures Scholarships
Eleven Scholarships Awarded
Eleven high school graduates were honored as ExtraordinAIRy Treasures to our future on June 7th. After learning about the lives of over 170 Central Indiana high school seniors, Williams Comfort Air and Metzler’s Mr. Plumber awarded eleven ExtraordinAIRy Treasures scholarships, five more than originally planned.
Our three person committee read about the lives of each of these young people with the goal of choosing six scholarship recipients, and we just couldn’t get it done. We were overwhelmed with how many great young adults were nominated. So through some employee donations and additional support from our company owners, we created five additional scholarships.
We hope that you have time to watch the presentation of these scholarships awarded to some very awesome young adults:
Brian Sahm ($1,000 – Roncalli)
Sara Beth Warren ($1,000 – Lebanon)
Grant Russel ($1,000 – Lutheran – represented by family)
Alex Minnig ($500 – Carmel)
Chandler James ($400 – Plainfield)
Jacob Strohmeyer ($400 – Stonegate Early College/ J. Everett Light Career Center)
Jessica Hoffman ($400 – New Palestine)
Kasey Crouse ($400 – Anderson Highland)
Scott Brown ($1,000 – Mooresville), Sierra Nicole Holland ($500 – Lawrence Central), and Hannah Flores ($400 – Carmel) were unable to attend the presentation.
Indy Style (WISH-TV, weekdays at 9:00am) aired a story about the scholarships.
We also have a video recording of the entire presentation which you can view below.
